Is Dirt Track Racing Worth The Price Of Admission

Last modified July 22, 2011

Dirt track racing can be an extremely fun, exciting, and must have experience, for individuals who are interested in cars and racing in general. This off course form of racing offers excitement at every turn, mud flying, fast racing, and just a thrill for enthusiasts of the sport to enjoy. Although it is a great experience to watch live, and to enjoy at an arena, dirt track racing tickets and admission prices can get pretty expensive for consumers. So, is it really worth the cost of the admission, and can you get just as much enjoyment from watching a race from home, for free?

The question really has no right or wrong, yes or no, answer; it really depends on who you are asking, and what their level of enthusiasm is for the sport of dirt track racing. The thrill of watching a live race is so much better in person, rather than watching it on tv. So, for extreme fans, it is the greatest thrill and experience, to get to see a live race at the track, and experience the noise, dirt, and pandamonium which can only be experienced at the track. So, for these consumers, the price of admission is really not a deterent.

On the other hand, for casual fans, paying a huge amount for a ticket, might really not be worth the cost. If you only casually watch the sport at home, when there is nothing else on tv, you might not be willing to pay the large admission price. Even if you find it entertaining, and do enjoy the action of the sport, it might be just as enjoyable watching from the comfort of your living room couch, and not having to pay to get in.

Depending on your love and enthusiasm for the sport, it may or may not be worth the cost of admission to go to a dirt track race.
